ENG – During my trip to Seoul, one of the sweetest stops I made was at Knotted Studio — one of the most popular donut shops in the city. I went to the branch located in Gangnam district, and honestly, I loved it.
The shop is in a very central area of the neighborhood, surrounded by modern cafés and super stylish boutiques.
I had already seen it all over social media, so I was really excited to visit.
I ordered the classic custard cream–filled donut, and I have to say — it exceeded my expectations.
The dough was incredibly soft and light, not heavy at all. The custard filling had just the right amount of sweetness, with a creamy, fresh texture. The sugar coating on the outside gave it a subtle crunch that made it absolutely perfect.
It was one of those moments where you take the first bite and instantly know you’ll be coming back (and I actually did — on the first night of my second trip to Seoul!).
The shop itself has a super cute aesthetic, with pastel colors, playful little details (like their iconic smiley face — I even took a few home as stickers!), and a fun yet cozy atmosphere.
The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the product presentation… a total delight for anyone who enjoys eating with their eyes first!
I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in Gangnam and craving something sweet. Whether you grab it to go or sit down with a coffee and take your time, the experience is totally worth it.

ESP – Durante mi viaje a Seúl, una de las paradas más dulces fue en Knotted Studio, una de las tiendas más populares de donuts en la ciudad. Fui a la sucursal que está en el distrito de Gangnam, y la verdad es que me encantó. La tienda está situada en una zona muy céntrica del barrio, rodeada de cafés modernos y tiendas con muchísimo estilo.
Ya la había visto por redes sociales, por lo que me hacía ilusión visitarla.
Pedí el clásico donut relleno de crema (custard cream) y tengo que decir que superó mis expectativas.
La masa era increíblemente suave y ligera, nada pesada. Y el relleno de crema tenía el dulzor justo, con una textura cremosa y fresca. El azúcar por fuera le daba un toque crujiente que lo hacía perfecto.
Fue uno de esos momentos en los que das el primer mordisco y ya sabes que vas a volver (de hecho lo hice la primera noche de mi segundo viaje).
El local tiene una estética súper cuidada, con colores pastel, detalles simpáticos (como su icónica carita sonriente, que me llevé algunas en formato pegatina) y un ambiente muy animado pero acogedor.
Además, el personal fue amable, el servicio rápido y la presentación de los productos… ¡una maravilla para los que disfrutamos comiendo también con los ojos!
Definitivamente lo recomiendo si estás por Gangnam y te apetece algo dulce. Ya sea para llevar o para sentarte un rato a disfrutarlo con un café, la experiencia vale la pena.
