ENG – In today’s post we will talk about accommodation. In my last visit to Seoul I stayed in 3 hotels, and the third one was my favorite. StayB Hotel, which is close to Myeongdong area, was in my opinion the best choice for a first time visit to Seoul.
It’s close to a few metro stations (Euljiro 3, Chungmuro, Myengdong), which is so importante when visiting the city. I literally crossed the entire city by metro!
It’s also within walking distance to the centre, but no so much that it’s too crowded with tourists.
Another plus is that the LimusineBus to go and come from the Airport has a stop just 2 blocks away from the hotel, so that’s also very convenient!!
The staff at the reception is super friendly and of course they can communicate in english with you. They let me leave my luggage before my check in time in the lobby and they also have a scale so you can weight your lugagge before going to the airport.
This is a 3 star hotel, but it honestly felt like 4 star. The room was clean, and tidy. Lots of light came through the window, and the view (even though I didn’t see any touristic places) was something that I enjoyed every morning and especially at night time.
The bed was very comfortable, and in my case I didn’t specify I wanted a double bed, but I checked on their web and they do have double available.
The bathroom was super clean and it had a bath, which I didn’t find in other hotels, so this was a huge plus, especially after a long day of walking.
As you can see from the pictures it was a very nice space, with modern decoration and it felt very warm and relaxing.
I booked this hotel just a few days before going and I did it through Booking app. The price for 3 nights (in september 2024) was a total of 310€, which I think it’s pretty good for the quality of the space.

ESP – En el post de hoy vamos a hablar de alojamientos. En mi última visita a Seúl me hospedé en 3 hoteles, y el último fue sin duda mi favorito. StayB Hotel, cerca del área de Myeongdong, fue en mi opinión la mejor opción para una primera visita a Seúl.
Está cerca de algunas estacione de metro ( Euljiro 3, Chungmuro, Myengdong), lo cual es muy importante cuando visitamos una ciudad así. Literalmente me recorrí Seúl entera en metro!
También está lo suficientemente cerca del centro como para ir andando, pero sin tener el ruido o cantidad de gente que pueda llegar a agobiarnos.
Otro punto a favor es que el Autobús Limusina del Aeropuerto tiene parada a 2 calles del hotel, lo cual es tan conveniente!
El personal en recepción es muy amable, y por supuesto se pueden comunicar en inglés. Puedes dejar tus maletas en el lobby si llegas antes de la hora del check in y también hay una báscula a disposición de los huéspedes para pesar las maletas antes de ir al aeropuerto.
Este hotel es un 3 estrellas, pero sinceramente se sentía como un 4 estrellas. La habitación era amplia, limpia y ordenada. Entraba mucha luz por la ventana y las vistas (aunque no se veía nada en especial) fue algo de lo que disfruté cada mañana y especialmente por las noches.
La cama era muy cómoda y en mi caso no especifiqué si quería dos individuales o una doble, pero he mirado en su web y sí que se puede elegir cama doblem
El baño estaba muy limpio y tenía bañera, algo que no encontré en los otros hoteles, por lo que fue una grata sorpresa, especialmente después de un día de mucho caminar.
Como podéis ver por las fotos, era un espacio muy bonito, con decoración moderna minimalista y una ambiente cálido y relajante.
Reservé este hotel apenas unos días antes de ir, y lo hice a través de la App de Booking. El precio por 3 noches (en septiembre 2024) fue un total de 310€, lo cual creo está bastante bien para la calidad del sitio.
