ENG – I visited Dalim Bread on my first day exploring the Seongsu-dong neighborhood, since it was already on my list of cafés to visit — and I really liked it. The first thing I noticed was that the ordering system is a bit different from other cafés. You first have to go to a self-order kiosk, choose what you want, and print out a ticket. It’s a bit confusing at first, but there’s a very kind staff member who helps you through the process. Plus, the machines are available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese.
Then, with that ticket, you join a second line to pick up your order once it’s ready. I used the waiting time to take some photos, since there were so many lovely details around — it felt like a scene from a Studio Ghibli movie.
There’s also a terrace area on the upper floor, but to sit there you need to order a coffee, and I wasn’t really in the mood for one, so I decided to get my order to go. I chose some filled buns (I think they were sweet potato, though I’m not 100% sure), and they were super tasty and freshly made. They were quite big, so I saved one for later.
While I was waiting to enter a pop-up store nearby, I sat on a bench and enjoyed my bun, along with a Cherry Blossom-flavored drink I bought at a convenience store.
The price wasn’t cheap — it cost me 9,000 KRW — but you get two fairly large buns, so it felt worth it.

ESP – Visité Dalim Bread en mi primer día explorando el barrio de Seongsu‑dong, ya que lo tenía en mi lista de cafés que visitar y me gustó mucho. Lo primero que noté fue que el sistema de pedido es diferente a otros cafés. Primero tienes que dirigirte a un kiosko de auto-pedido, elegir lo que quieres y sacar un ticket. Aunque resulta un poco confuso al principio, hay un trabajador muy amable que te ayuda en el proceso. Y además las máquinas están disponibles en coreano, inglés, japonés y chino.
Luego, con ese ticket, haces una segunda cola para recoger tu pedido cuando esté listo. Aproveché la espera para hacer algunas fotitos, ya que habían muchos detalles encantadores, como un decorado de una peli de Studio Ghibli.
Hay una zona de terraza, en la planta superior, pero para ello tienes que pedir café, y a mí no me apetecía, por lo que lo encargué para llevar. Elegí los bollitos rellenos (creo que de boniato, pero no estoy 100% segura) y estaban super ricos y recién hechos. Eran bastante grandes así que uno me lo guardé para más tarde.
Mientras esperaba para entrar a una pop-up store me lo comí sentada en un banco. Y lo acompañe de una bebida sabor Cherry Blossom que compré en un convenience store.
El precio no era barato, me costó 9.000Kwns, pero venían 2 bollitos bastante grandes.
