ENG – Another week discovering beautiful cafes of Seoul. Today’s turn is Standard Bread, and let me tell you, there is nothing «standard» about it! This place has one of the best breads I’ve ever tried!
I went to their Gangnam store, but they also have another one in Seongsu. Starting from the outside, the garden decoration is warm and peaceful. Lots of wood and bright flowers. On the inside, each little corner is so inspiring. It’s full of details and it looks like a real bakery kitchen.
There is a wide range of breads to choose from. I picked the salted butter and tissue bread. Both perfect choices!! For the first one I paired it with a sweet pumpkim soup and the second one with pistacchio and raspberry spread. I’m salivating just remembering that one! Can’t wait to go back again next time I’m in Seoul.

ESP – Otra semana descubriendo los preciosos cafés de Seúl. Hoy es el turno de Standard Bread, y os aseguro que no tiene nada de «standard». Este lugar tiene uno de los mejores panes que he probado nunca.
Fui a su local de Gangnam, pero también tienen otro en Seongsu. Empezando por el exterior, la decoración del jardín es muy cálida y tranquila. Toques de madera y flores de colores alegres. En el interior, cada pequeño rincón es muy inspirador. Está lleno de detalles y parece una auténtica cocina de panadería.
Hay una amplia gama de panes para elegir. Elegí el de mantequilla salada y el de papel tissue. ¡Ambas opciones perfectas! El primero lo acompañé con una sopa de calabaza dulce y el segundo con un spread de pistachos y frambuesa. ¡Se me hace agua la boca solo de recordarlo! Qué ganas de volver en mi próxima visita a Seúl.
