ENG – In today’s post I will share about another hotel I stayed at in my last trip to Seoul: Shilla Stay Seodaemun.
Located in Seodaemun area (close to Gwangwhamun Gate, Gyeongbokgung Palace and more tourist places) this 4 star hotel is part of Samsung Group and offers more than 300 modern and stylish rooms, a gym area and a restaurant.
The hotel is a 1-hour drive from Incheon International Airport. To get there I got the 6002 Airport Limusine bus ( I explained more on how to get to Seoul on this post), which was so convenient after so many hours of travelling and it dropped me off in front of the hotel.
The staff at the reception were super nice and welcomed me very efficiently. The room I booked was a double, very clean and comfortable with everything you need (air condition, TV, refrigerator, bathroom with shower cabin, hairdryer and free toiletries). Also bathrobes and slippers were provided.
Of course on my first night in Seoul I wanted to try Banana milk, so I went to a G-25 convenient store that was just one block away from the hotel. Talk about convenient!!
It is also very close to metro station Seodaemun (line 5), exits 7 and 8.
My reservation included breakfast, so I had the change to try the breafast buffet, but be aware that hours are different on weekdays and weekend/festives (so make sure to check that in the hotel web ). On my last day I arrived when it was closing, but still they were very nice and let me in.
Overall I had a great experience in Shilla Stay Seodaemun, so I definitely recommend it.
ESP – En el post de hoy les hablaré sobre otro hotel en el que me alojé en mi último viaje a Seúl: Shilla Stay Seodaemun.
Situado en la zona de Seodaemun (cerca de la puerta Gwangwhamun, el palacio Gyeongbokgung y más lugares turísticos), este hotel de 4 estrellas forma parte del grupo Samsung y ofrece más de 300 habitaciones modernas y elegantes, un gimnasio y un restaurante.
El hotel está a 1 hora en coche del aeropuerto internacional de Incheon. Para llegar allí tomé el autobús 6002 Airport Limusine (expliqué más sobre cómo llegar a Seúl en este post), lo cual fue muy conveniente después de tantas horas de viaje y me dejó frente al hotel.
El personal de recepción fue muy amable y me recibió de manera rápida y eficiente. La habitación que reservé era doble, muy limpia y cómoda, con todo lo necesario (aire acondicionado, TV, nevera, baño con cabina de ducha, secador de pelo y artículos de aseo gratuitos). También habían albornoces y zapatillas.
Por supuesto, en mi primera noche en Seúl quería probar la leche de plátano, así que fui a una tienda G-25 que estaba a solo una calle del hotel. ¡Eso es conveniente!
También está muy cerca de la estación de metro Seodaemun (línea 5), salidas 7 y 8.
Mi reserva incluía el desayuno, por lo que probé el desayuno buffet, pero ten en cuenta que los horarios son diferentes entre semana y los fines de semana/festivos (así que asegúrate de comprobarlo en la web del hotel). El último día llegué cuando ya estaban cerrando, pero aun así fueron muy amables y me dejaron entrar.
En general, tuve una gran experiencia en Shilla Stay Seodaemun, así que definitivamente lo recomiendo.
