ENG – Last week I asked via Instagram which type of post you wanted to read next, and «Cafes of Seoul» won over other two other options (which I will post later on).
So today, we will start this series of aesthetic Cafes, which was one of my favorite things to do in Seoul.
On my first full day I visited Onion Cafe Anguk, which is located in Jogno District, in between Bukchon Hanok Village and Insadong area, both must see places if it’s your first time in Seoul.
This cafe (as opposed to the Seoungsu location) has a traditional hanok structure, which only adds to its charm, a mix of old style and new cafe culture.
At the entrance there are 2 queues, one is to have your coffee sitting inside, and the other is for take away, but you can also sit in an open area on the floor (which was my favorite part), and of course you have to remove your shoes before entering the room.
Besides coffee and beverages, there is a huge selection of baked goods, sweet and savoury, and picking just one is the most difficult part, since they are all delicious.
I chose the Fig and mascarpone creme XL Croissant with raspberry ade, and my friend had a vegetable pizza and an ice americano. The total cost was 76.000 wones (is not cheap, but it was worth it).
I wanted to come back another day to try more things, but the waiting time was too long. This is for sure a popular place, so be prepared to wait.

ESP – La semana pasada pregunté por Instagram qué tipo de post queríais leer a continuación, y los «Cafés de Seúl» ganó sobre las otras 2 opciones (que publicaré más adelante).
Por lo que hoy, comenzamos esta nueva serie de cafés aesthetics, que fue una de mis cosas favoritas en Seúl.
En mi primer día completo visité Onion Cafe Anguk, que está situado en el distrito de Jogno,entre Bukchon Hanok Village y el área de Insadong, ambos lugares de obligatoria visita.
Este café (al contrario que el situado en Seoungsu) tiene una estructura tradicional hanok, lo cual le añade encanto, una mezcla de lo antiguo y la nueva cultura de cafés.
En la entrada hay dos colas, una de ellas para tomar café sentado dentro, y otra para take away, pero también es posible sentarse en una área abierta en el suelo (mi parte favorita), y por supuesto dejando los zapatos antes de entrar.
Además de cafés y bebidas, tienen una gran selección de productos horneados, tanto dulce como salados. Decidir cual escoger es sin duda la parte más complicada, están todos deliciosos!
Yo elegí un croissant XL relleno de higos y crema de mascarpone y una bebida fresquita de frambuesa. Y mi amigo una pizza de verduras y un Ice Americano. El total fueron 76.000 wones (barato no es).
En mis últimos días en Seúl quise volver a probar otra cosa, pero la espera era demasiado larga. Desde luego este sitio es muy popular, así que prepárate para esperar. pero merece la pena 100%.
